The New South Athletic Conference recently released its 2024-2025 men's Basketball coach poll. In its first year competing in the NSAC, The John Melvin University basketball team was voted 7th out of 10 teams by coaches in the conference. Rival John Melvin Christian College was voted 4th in the conference, and perennial power Apprentice University was voted 1st headed into the season. John Melvin will open its season this Thursday with a home game against Louisiana Christian at 6pm at the historic Martin Luthor King center in Crowley, Louisiana.
